Take a moment to appreciate this MADE TO ORDER soul food plate. This food isn’t sitting on a buffet or heat lamp drying out. This is made to order so you will have to wait a bit. Fantastic. If your looking for soul food, skip the tourist traps and get the real deal. I will definitely be back.

After doing some careful research, our group decided to try 2 Chefs. We all had the fried chicken, and two of us had the collard greens and mac and cheese. Sumptuous is the word that comes to mind as I think about our meal. We loved the atmosphere, the music that was playing, and the warm and friendly service we received. We were going to get it to go, but decided to just eat there and I'm glad we did. Afterwards we got to meet the chefs and they were really gracious and warm. I highly recommend!!!

My wife and I decided to stop by after seeing all the reviews/pictures and I’m just mad we didn’t try it sooner. I had the fried fish, red rice, mac & cheese and the greens. She ordered the smothered fried chicken with the same sides and both came with cornbread. It was absolutely amazing. Greens were cooked just right and seasoned perfectly. I thought the mac & cheese was going to be too cheesy at first. Wrong. I devoured every bit of it. Red rice had just the flavor and the fish was on point. I don’t know what they do to get their cornbread so fluffy and airy but it had a little sweetness to it and was also amazing. Everything was just so good that words can’t even begin to describe it. My wife thoroughly enjoyed everything on her plate as well. Fantastic food with the friendliest service. You cannot go wrong. I’m just thankful they were open on New Year’s Day and my first meal of the year was one of the best I’ve ever had.

This place is truly a hidden gem and definitely a local spot. This food is sooo good I almost bit my finger off while eating lol!!! I highly recommend this spot. I got the fried fish meal with red rice cabbage and macaroni.. my husband got the shrimp meal with corn and cabbage. I liked the fish better than the shrimp, the fish was soft but crispy and loaded with flavor!!! Come support this black owned business. You won't be disappointed I promise!!!

As soon as my husband and I walked in there, it was great vibes! I love the owners and their family! Their spirits were very welcoming! The food was beyond good!!! We ordered fish, smothered shrimp, mac and cheese, and collard greens!! This spot will definitely be one of my favorite places to eat!!

Googled and found this place...food made to order...husband wife team...absolutely delightful!!! A staple on Martin Luther king...a bit spicy but worth it!!! Fried fish, butter beans with green beans w/ red rice..and corn bread with wonderful tea....my hubby had smothered pork chops with rice Mac n cheese n okra n tomatoes...A MUST to dine in or carry out!!!if you are looking for southern cooking, yes this is it!

Great food! We took our food to go and food was still hot when we got back home. All food is cooked to order. We ordered the fish & shrimp, smothered pork chop. It was all amazing! Will visit again when in the area!

Got the smothered pork chop and the fried chicken. Both were excellent. The fried chicken was succulent with a light coating, which we prefer to what we usually get when getting fried chicken at other places. Good choices of tasty sides, too. Reasonably priced.
